Happy Easter!

Our Easter fun started yesterday when we went to Landry Vineyards for the afternoon.  Audrey sat on the blanket and people watched while Max chased the tractor ride around the vineyard and danced to the zydeco band (unfortunately there's no pictures of this).

She's so content with her plastic egg.

"We need more wine over here!"

Easter Day we set up an egg hunt in the backyard for Max.  We left the stuffed bunny in the house this time so Ricky wouldn't get a hold of it.

The chickens are laying some funny eggs today.

Every time he found an egg he had to open it, take a bite out of the candy, put it back in the egg and close it up before looking for the next egg.

Visitors!

Grandma and grandpa visited for a few days and the time passed way too quickly!  Before I knew it they were leaving and I realized I didn't take many photos.  These little ones just keep everyone so busy that there isn't time for anything else.

Grandma and Audrey spent lots of time together cuddling and playing games .

She's all smiles and giggles around Grandma.

Max kept grandpa busy doing yard work.  Got to pick up all the sticks in the yard!

Vintage

Audrey is looking fashionable wearing one of mom's dresses.  This little dress was made by Grandma Yvette and was worn by Michele when she was 14 months old.

Until taking this picture I didn't realize she was part Kewpie doll.

Since he had so much fun with this we might add more challenges and turn it into an obstacle course.

Spring!

The temperature is perfect and the mosquitoes are not out yet which means we are spending every minute we can outside.

There was a bit of a breeze today.

So many little flowers to pick.

Max's favorite spot in the yard.  There's a lot of good dirt and crunchy dead leaves here.  Also makes for a great place to hide, especially when mom and dad dress you in khaki pants and a green shirt, which we quickly learned not to do again.

He's good to his chickens, especially Frizzle.
