Snuggles and Hugs

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!  I didn't take many pictures during the holidays.  I wanted to enjoy watching them unwrap presents while drinking coffee and eating gingerbread waffles.

But it's after the holidays now so I'm back to picture taking! 

 

Tok River





It warmed up to -4 today, woohoo!  We took a little drive to the Tok River to explore a new place and play.  The river is dried up this time of year and makes for a great spot to run around.  Audrey couldn't handle the 15 minute drive without falling asleep so she missed most of the fun.  She woke up just in time to get outside and enjoy the beautiful mountains before we packed up and drove home.

 

Painting

I made homemade finger paint today for the kids.  That means it's safe to eat!

 

Max's 3rd Birthday

This year's birthday theme was trains, which has been his favorite thing since he saw the train go through town at grandma and grandpa Flagen's house a couple months ago.  We started the day with a present before breakfast and ended the day with cake.

We Have a Three Year Old

Neither of the kids wanted to go to sleep last night.  By the time they fell asleep it was past midnight.  So here is the first picture of Max on his birthday.

He likes trains, cars, puzzles, granola and yogurt, tea parties, and playing in the snow.  He refuses to go to bed without the engine piece of his train puzzle.
