Core Workout

Max isn't able to sit on his own yet but he does get a good workout doing baby sit-ups.

First Easter

We were lucky to have another visit from family for Easter.  Max is a lot more entertaining than the last time Michele's parents were here.  We all had lots of laughs playing with Max and making him giggle.

We were lucky to have beautiful weather and spend lots of time outside, which meant Max got to show off his new hat.

Lazy Saturday

Max got a new toy this weekend!  He is enjoying being vertical and figuring out what his legs are for.

4 Months Old

He thinks he's too much of a tough guy to smile for pictures now that he's 4 months old.

Solid Foods, Take 1

He didn't cry, which in our book means this was a success.

By the end of the meal he was dining like a perfect gentleman.

Everyday Life

There has been much progress this month!  One of the more exciting accomplishments is that Max rolled over for the first time.  I've tried to get footage of him rolling over but he's decided once is enough for now.  Aside from that big milestone there has been plenty of good day-to-day stuff.

Not only has Max discovered what his hands are for, but whatever he gets his grip on goes directly to his mouth...

...even things that are way too big to fit in his mouth.

All ready for a walk in the park!  With the weather warming up quickly there won't be many days left for him to wear his bear jacket.

Max and Ricky love it when dad does his back stretches on the floor.

 This guy likes sitting in the rocking chair...at the moment.  When we are trying to rock him to sleep it's a different story!
