Starting to Go Vertical

We pull him into standing position but from there it's all him!  Max learned quickly how to hold on to our hands and balance himself.  

These little feet are supporting a lot of weight.

Morning Routine

I like to start the day by rolling around...

 ...and flipping a blanket onto my head...

...until I bore of that and politely ask mom to sit me up so I can watch the Today show...

...

...then it's back to rolling...

...checking out the couch...

...and the rug...

 ...and getting in a few push-ups before it's time to nap.

Aunt Chantal Visits

A visit from Aunt Chantal means one thing is certain: there will be costumes and photo shoots.  She did not disappoint!

This fruit farm grows some gigantic peaches.

6 Months Old

Max is halfway to his first birthday and he's getting to be such a big boy.  At his 6 month appointment today the doctor described him as the "Michelin Man".

Likes:  Sitting up, chewing on mom's fingers, his toes, tags, watching Ricky, rides in his wagon, shrieking loudly, and swinging. 

Dislikes: Going to sleep, staying asleep, and his crib.

Chemin-A-Haut State Park

We explored a new place this weekend and Max had some new experiences.  The back pack turned out to be a hit and his first time in a big pool was a success!

Another Visit From Grandparents

Ross's parents visited us for a week and we enjoyed spending time together in the beautiful weather.  The highlight of the trip was the new mode of transportation they gave to Max.  I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, Max or us.
