Toddler Bed

With a little one on the way that will need a crib to sleep in we had been debating what to do about Max's sleeping situation.  Do we let him stay in his crib and get another one or should we try to move him to a toddler bed?  Turns out he made the decision for us a few weeks ago when he suddenly decided he didn't want to sleep in his crib anymore.  After trying everything we could think of to get him to sleep, we removed the front of the crib and placed the mattress on the floor.  Sure enough that did the trick.  So here we are, three weeks later, taking down the crib and replacing it with a toddler bed!

Being the good little helper that he is, he wanted to be involved with this project.

Dad showed him how to use an allen wrench.

After he assembled the head and foot boards he laid out the supports for the mattress.

Ricky has experienced enough of our projects to know the best thing to do is find a comfortable spot and stay out of the way.

The moment of truth.  He ran right to it and crawled in!

I think he likes it!
