Close Up
These kids are fast. It's difficult to get a picture of them before they are THIS CLOSE to the camera.

You can thank Audrey for these
Max is napping and the only place Audrey will sleep is on my lap. Which is where she is right now. So I'm stuck for a while with nothing to do besides post a couple more pictures from this week.
She's so serious these days.
This buttered bread is far more interesting than getting a picture taken with my sister.

Projects and Procrastination
Audrey has been residing in our bedroom her entire 7 months of life, mostly because of laziness on my part. Taking two steps from our bed to her crib in the middle of the night is just so easy! Plus I hadn't prepared a room for her yet (second child, what can I say?). Monday I drew the line and kicked her out. I still didn't have anything for her room but quickly came up with a list of projects to get started on.
Then I got a new camera lens in the mail. I got sidetracked.

Max is always a good model.
"Hey little sister!". I know, I probably shouldn't let him climb on the crib but he was making her giggle. How can I stop that?
Not even a smile. Just one picture then I'll get back to decorating, I promise!

Christmas
Just more proof that Christmas can still be memorable (in a good way) despite several runny noses. The tree was a hit with the little ones, we all ate lots of delicious food, the kids were spoiled, and most importantly we just enjoyed each other's company.
The twinkling lights are hypnotizing.
Max liked to give kisses to the rocking horse ornaments.
"Who's this guy?"
Looking pretty in her Christmas outfit.
The guys played with one of Max's new toys which, of course, involved cars.
Audrey got a new best friend. Ricky was pleased about his new stuffed animal, too.

Decorating Cookies
It's not Christmas unless you are making (and eating) cookies!
Aunt Chantal explained to Max how to decorate the cookie to look like Santa.
It started off with Aunt Chantal decorating and Max picking everything off and eating it.
Then the red sprinkles came out.
Ta da! The masterpiece!

Holidays in Ohio
Ok, now that we got all the costumey posts out of the way we can get to the holiday photos. It was another trip full of firsts: first trip to Ohio as a family of four, Audrey's first Christmas, first time we all got a cold at the same time. Yeah, not the ideal situation but we made the best of it.
Max got sick first and spent most of his time in his room, which meant Audrey had the monopoly on her aunt and uncle.
Hug time with Uncle Matt.
There were times when Max was feeling good and wanted to get out of the house. If he had his way he would have spent the whole day in the garage talking to the cars and sitting on the mower.
Fresh air makes a guy feel better.
This little lady likes it, too.
Aunt Chantal impressed Max and Ricky with a Mentos and coke geyser.
Speaking of Ricky, he had no problem making himself at home.
Family photo (minus two dogs who, if you couldn't guess, are off to the left)

Vegas, Baby!
She's probably the shortest and chubbiest Vegas showgirl there is, but by far the prettiest. Thanks Aunt Chantal for another costume!
